Fairfax A Levels 2026: Students in Fairfax Academy’s Sixth Form are today celebrating yet another excellent set of A Level results, with almost half achieving grades A–B and an impressive 98.9% securing a pass at A–E.
Earlier this year, Fairfax Academy was named the top-performing sixth form in the West Midlands, with 86% of students securing their first-choice university last year.
Today’s A Level results reflect the continued hard work, commitment and resilience of Fairfax’s Year 13 students, with particularly strong performances across a broad range of subjects.
Applied Science, Psychology, Accounting, Chemistry, Biology and History were among the highest-performing subjects, highlighting the strength and breadth of the Sixth Form curriculum.
Principal, Sean Castle said: “We are especially proud of the number of students achieving the grades required to progress successfully onto their chosen next steps, whether that be university, apprenticeships, employment or further education and training.
Particularly strong progress in BTEC qualifications, 100% students achieved D*-M, and 75% students achieved D*-D, this represents a positive step forward and demonstrates that our students continue to achieve highly across a wide range of academic disciplines.”
Head of Sixth Form, Azania Blake said: “We are delighted with the achievements of our Year 13 students. Their results are a testament to their determination, perseverance and hard work, as well as the excellent teaching, guidance and pastoral support provided by staff throughout their Sixth Form journey.
