Fairfax GCSE results 2026: Students at Sutton Coldfield’s Fairfax Academy – the founding school of the Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust – are celebrating another fantastic year of GCSE performance.
The academy is particularly pleased to see the continued rise in the proportion of students achieving the highest grades, with Grades 9–7 increasing this year. The proportion of students achieving Grades 5–9 has also increased again overall, reflecting the sustained hard work and commitment of students and staff.
There have also been notable successes in languages and vocational courses, with students demonstrating exceptional progress and achievement across a broad range of subjects.
These results highlight the strength and diversity of the curriculum at Fairfax Academy and the opportunities available to every student to achieve their potential.
The academy is equally proud of the progress made across key student sub-groups, with improvements demonstrating the impact of targeted support, high expectations and a relentless focus on ensuring that every student can succeed.
