Nether Stowe A-levels 2023 – Nether Stowe School, part of the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP), is thoroughly proud to be celebrating another great set of A-level results with its students.
Headteacher, Glyn Langston-Jones, said: “Enormous congratulations to all our students on these results. It is still really important to remember that this cohort of students, like all nationally, have been through a very challenging time in their education. Each grade is a culmination of a great deal of hard work, determination, perseverance and dedication and we are rightly proud of their hard work and results.”
Head of Sixth Form, Hannah Riley, added: “It has been an absolute pleasure working with our Year 13 students and they should all be thoroughly proud of the results they have achieved. It is excellent to see the hard work has paid off and that many of them have secured fantastic opportunities at a range of top universities and in the world of apprenticeships. Congratulations to all of them and I wish them all the best as they move on to new challenges and experiences.”
Student Paige Girling (pictured) said: “I’ve had a blast and I couldn’t have done it without the help of my teachers.”
Mr Langston-Jones added: “We thank students for their immense efforts and hard work as well as recognising the tireless support of our staff. As a small Sixth Form we are very proud of the personalised support we provide to our students and the superb level of individual support and guidance. Finally, I want to wish all of our students the very best of luck and continued success for a bright and promising future.”

Contemplating University Clearing?
Going through Clearing to get into a university isn’t always a bad thing.
People who didn’t get in to their first choice university went through Clearing and were often accepted to better universities than they originally planned.
In some cases, even those who achieved their target grades went through Clearing because they decided they wanted to go to a different university than they had initially applied for.

Take it slow
Moving onto the next step is a very personal thing, so giving yourself time to breathe could give you a whole new perspective.
Try not to make decisions in the heat of the moment. Take as much time as you need to work out your next steps, and ask for help if you need it.

Despite the reassurance, sometimes the stress of the situation can get you down.
To overcome the stress, make sure to stay connected to your passions and use each stressful situation as a learning experience.
